Building out Koype

So Koype's gotten to a point where I can start writing about it from its own instance on my server. Well, I'm not writing on it exactly but I am posting to it using Aaron's Micropub client, Quill. The thing I like so much about this process of building a platform is that everything I enjoy about the Web is being built on top of the work of others but also molded by my interpretation of it. More about that later.


I spent today working on the view of photos in Koype. What I have so far will work without JavaScript and works responsively (a requirement for Koype's default theme):

It's meant to be really light and bring focus to the images on the page. I even got it replicated on the main stream. It's really nice!
