I’ve been toying around with adding explicit tag support (think using a “#” to tag content within this block of text) in Koype. What would happen is that upon use, if it was found in Koype already, it’d create the tag. Otherwise, it’s skip over the text like nothing happened. However, this is a bit of undefined behavior. Do you expect that when you type text with a # to be automatically tagged with those tags? Thank to silos, this behavior has been normalized and even picked up by projects like Mastodon. Because of this, I’ll end up baking this feature into Koype’s processing of Markdown (the preferred pre-processor of text for Koype).

Let me know your feedback!
